Alex Picot Trust Appoints Simon Morgan as Consultant

Alex Picot Trust has added further senior industry experience to its private client team with the appointment of Simon Morgan as a part-time Consultant.

The independent, owner-managed Jersey trust company said Morgan will support the firm’s continued development in the private client sector, with a focus on strategic business advisory and building new client relationships. His role will also see him act as an ambassador for Alex Picot Trust within Jersey’s wider business and private client community.

Morgan brings more than 40 years of experience in the private client industry, having held senior positions in both Jersey and the Cayman Islands. He has also taken on a number of leadership roles within STEP, including being elected worldwide Chair in 2019 and previously serving as Chair of STEP Jersey.

Steve Gully, Director at Alex Picot Trust, said on behalf of the Board that the firm was pleased to welcome Morgan to the team. He highlighted Morgan’s extensive knowledge of the trust industry and said his experience would support the company’s proposition as it builds on nearly a century of trust administration and its long-standing private client focus.

Morgan said he was pleased to be joining Alex Picot Trust and looked forward to working with the team. He described the firm as one of Jersey’s leading independent trust companies and said he was excited to support its continued organic growth.
