Maples Group Builds Out Jersey Fiduciary Team with Two Senior Hires
Maples Group has expanded its fiduciary services presence in Jersey with the appointment of two senior professionals, reinforcing its corporate and fiduciary offering in the jurisdiction.
Dameon Gaynor has joined the Group as Senior Vice President, while Olivia Shanks has been appointed Vice President. Together, the two hires add significant experience across Jersey’s financial services, offshore governance, corporate structures and fund-related activity.
Gaynor brings more than 25 years of experience in Jersey’s finance sector. A qualified UK Chartered Accountant, he has held senior roles at established trust and fund services firms and has deep knowledge of the Island’s corporate and regulatory environment.
Shanks joins with over 15 years of experience in offshore financial services, including work across Jersey and the Cayman Islands. Her expertise includes governance for private equity, credit, real estate and structured finance vehicles. She also holds postgraduate legal qualifications and is an Accredited Director.
In their new roles, Gaynor and Shanks will provide corporate and fiduciary services for Jersey private funds and corporate structures. Their work will support activities including private equity investment, commercial real estate, infrastructure and general investment holding.
