Shalom Azar Moves to Wells Fargo FiNet
Shalom Azar has moved to Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as part of the Fischman Azar Group, a wealth management team led by Alexander “Sandy” Fischman and Shalom Azar.
The team has transitioned its practice to Wells Fargo’s Financial Network, also known as FiNet. The move places the Fischman Azar Group within Wells Fargo’s independent advisory channel while allowing the group to continue providing wealth management services to families, business owners, senior executives and high-net-worth clients.
Azar is a Senior Financial Advisor with the Fischman Azar Group. His work focuses on tax-efficient strategies related to executive compensation for senior executives at publicly traded companies. He also works with clients on trust and estate planning strategies, investment planning, liquidity planning, legacy planning, education planning and broader wealth management needs.
Before joining Wells Fargo FiNet, Azar worked at Morgan Stanley from 2021 to 2025. He began his advisory career at Merrill Lynch, where he received training in financial planning, capital markets and client service.
The Fischman Azar Group previously worked at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley before joining Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network in 2025. According to the group’s Wells Fargo profile, Fischman began working with Azar in 2019 at Merrill Lynch, and the team later moved to Morgan Stanley in 2021 before transitioning to Wells Fargo FiNet.
The group’s service model is focused on investment planning and a “family office” style of service for retail clients. Its work includes scheduled reviews, investment planning discussions, portfolio guidance and long-term financial planning.
