Merrill Lynch Advisors Move to Wells Fargo FiNet

Two Merrill Lynch advisory teams have moved to Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network, where they have formed a new practice called Twin Harbors Private Wealth.

The team is based in Melville, New York, and joined Wells Fargo’s independent advisory channel, known as FiNet, on May 11, 2026. The advisors previously managed a combined $1.4 billion in client assets at Merrill Lynch.

Twin Harbors Private Wealth includes financial advisors Jeffrey Wang, Joseph Ilg, John Rizzo, Corey Streim, Kyle Napolitano and Daniel Sporn. The team also includes support staff members Alyssa Oviasage, Denise Bonifazio and Dianne Gibbons.

The new practice combines two former Merrill Lynch teams. At Merrill, Wang, Streim and Sporn were part of the WS Group, while Ilg, Rizzo and Napolitano had led a practice called A.I.R.N & Associates. AdvisorHub reported that the WS Group was listed by Forbes as managing $750 million in assets, while A.I.R.N & Associates managed $661 million in assets.

At Wells Fargo FiNet, the team will operate as part of the firm’s independent advisor platform. The move gives the advisors a new structure for serving clients while remaining connected to Wells Fargo’s wealth management resources.

The advisors said the decision was based on alignment and a desire to build the practice around the client experience, including technology, planning, communication and business growth.

Wells Fargo said the addition of Twin Harbors Private Wealth is another significant recruiting move for FiNet in the Long Island market. In January 2026, Wells Fargo FiNet added Infinity Private Wealth, a Melville-based practice that previously managed $1.8 billion and also joined from Merrill Lynch.

The Twin Harbors team is led by managing partners Jeff Wang and Joseph Ilg. John Rizzo, Corey Streim and Kyle Napolitano are partners, while Daniel Sporn is first vice president.

Wang is a 32-year industry veteran who began his career with Citigroup in 1994. He later worked at Morgan Stanley before joining Merrill Lynch in 2016. Ilg first registered as a broker with NYLife Securities in 2012, later worked briefly at Spartan Capital Securities, and joined Merrill Lynch in 2014.

Other team members also came from Merrill Lynch. Rizzo and Napolitano both started with Merrill in 2019, while Sporn began his career with Merrill two years ago, according to AdvisorHub.

The move comes during a period of active recruiting for Wells Fargo’s independent advisory channel. In April, Wells Fargo said FiNet had recruited teams in the first quarter that had managed a combined $9 billion in client assets at their prior firms.

Twin Harbors Private Wealth will now operate from Long Island under Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network. The practice will continue serving clients through a team-based advisory model under its new name and platform.
