Alexander “Sandy” Fischman Moves to Wells Fargo FiNet
Alexander “Sandy” Fischman has moved to Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network as part of the Fischman Azar Group, a Fort Lee, New Jersey-based wealth management team.
Fischman is a Senior Financial Advisor and one of the leaders of the Fischman Azar Group, alongside Shalom Azar. The group has transitioned its practice to Wells Fargo’s Financial Network, also known as FiNet, after previously working at Merrill Lynch and Morgan Stanley.
Fischman began his career during the financial crisis, an experience that helped shape his investment philosophy around principal preservation. He later moved from a regional broker-dealer to Merrill Lynch in 2015, where he founded The Fischman Group.
In 2019, Fischman began working with Shalom Azar, who joined him at Merrill Lynch. The two formed the Fischman Azar Group and later moved the team to Morgan Stanley in 2021. In 2025, the team joined Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network.
